APPOINTMENT OF RELATIVES OF THE OFFICIALS ALREADY IN SERVICE.
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to say that the Hon'ble Authority has been pleased to resolve that there is no need to obtain relative approval from this Court as the same is not condition precedent for the appointment of a person under the law, rules and policy governing recruitment method of civil servants. Moreover, it delays the order of appointment of selected persons which in turn affects the functioning of the Establishment and performance of the Courts.
02. In adherence to the above decision, this Court's circular letter No. 4149/E/VII.A.27 dated 11.04.1963 is hereby withdrawn and Appointment of Relatives of officials already in service shall no longer require prior approval of this Court.
