Will the Deputy Treasury Officer (TT), Inspectorate of Treasuries & Accounts Government of the Punjab, Finance Department kindly refer to his letter No.ITFD(BUD)9-5/2019-20, dated 18.08.2020 on the subject noted above?
2 The case has been examined It is intimated that hitherto only the category of Key Punch Operators / Key Punch Verifying Operators / Data Entry Operators was granted the facility of computer allowance vide policy letter No.FD SR- 1/28-1/2003, dated 27.12. 2004 (copy enclosed) and it was not allowed to Junior Computer Operator / Computer Operator Now, in wake of policy letter of Finance Department bearing No.FD.PC 40-43/2017(E), dated 14.12 2018 (copy enclosed) whereby the posts of Data Entry Operators / Key Punch Operators / Key Verifying Operators Computer Operators have been up-graded and re-designated as Junior Computer Operator Computer Operator, the facility of computer allowance is extended to the category of Junior Computer Operator and Computer Operator

in letter and spirit.
